Men Living Fearlessly, With No Regrets

Approximately two dozen men from New Song Community Church and the surrounding community participated in the No Regrets Men’s Conference on February 3, 2024.

In what has become an annual tradition, New Song hosted a live-stream of the conference, which is held at Elmbrook Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and broadcast to over 130 host sites worldwide, including as far away as Pakistan and India.

The No Regrets conference theme of “Fearless” was based on one of the most beloved passages of the Bible: Isaiah 41:10. 

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10, ESV)

Held over the course of half-a-day, the No Regrets conference featured worship songs from a live band, keynote speakers, and breakout tracks. Aimed specifically at men, the subjects included marriage, parenting, prayer life, work and busyness, how to be a Godly man, and avoiding sin and temptation.

The 2024 conference speakers were well-known Christian leaders: Brady Boyd, Derwin Gray, Chip Ingram, Ricky Jenkins, Skye Jethani, Kenny Lucky, Toby Martin, Brian Tome, and Steve Sonderman. 

Women volunteers from New Song made lunch and dessert for the conference participants. Bagels, fruit, and coffee were also served. 

New Song Pastor Herb Shaffer encouraged men to participate in the No Regrets conference as an “iron-sharpens-iron” opportunity for Christ-centered fellowship and relationship-building. 

Men in New Song will continue to meet throughout the year through the church’s Men’s Group program.

Held once a month on Saturday mornings, the Men’s Group is focused on building up the men of the church (age 16 and up) so they can strengthen their relationship with Jesus and with each other.  Videos from the 2024 No Regret’s Conference will be used as teaching tools at the meetings.

Another men’s fellowship opportunity is also available through the men’s ministry Men’s Alliance. The local chapter of the group meets every Saturday morning at 7 a.m. on the grounds behind New Song Community Church. For more information, contact Dave Sabo at 910-750-6926.
