Who We Are
You will find that this is not a “typical” church. New Song is probably not like the church you grew up in. We are ordinary people, no pretensions or facades, but real people, it is truly a family. You will be warmly welcomed but not smothered. You will hear the Bible taught as the Word of God, but applied to life today with humor, stories and testimonies. You will laugh, you might cry, but our hope is that you will come face to face with God. We invite you to do so through the songs, scripture, prayers and Bible based message. If you have questions, please ask.
It is all about relationships, not religion.
We are a Bible believing church committed to living our lives for God through discovering His relevant, practical truth in the context of relationships with others. You can belong here, find life here, find fulfillment in serving others here, make life make sense here.
Jesus said, “I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly.” John 10:10
What We Believe
- In the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit
- In the Bible as God’s Word for today
- In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ
- In salvation by grace through faith
- In a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- In the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit
- In the return of Jesus Christ
- In the unity of all believers
What We’re Committed To
To God: Because God has provided a personal relationship with Himself through Jesus and has promised an eternity in heaven, we are committed to serving Him by serving others.
To People: All kinds of people. We accept people for who they are, not for what they can do or what they have. We believe God has a great plan for every person.
To Families: The stresses of life threaten every family. Our goal is to strengthen and support existing families and to be a family to those without one.
To our Community: We’re working to make our community a better place in which to live. We’re striving to meet the needs of the total person. Our desire is to provide opportunities to develop spiritually, socially, physically and educationally.
|To do whatever it takes to aggressively reach out to the unchurched to offer a personal, deep relationship with Christ in relevant ways in an environment of family-like relationships. Our primary ministry area is the South Hills, but we will serve as God opens doors.
